Our Values

We believe that our primary role is to nurture children, instilling self-esteem, positive social skills, good manners and respect for others, preparing them for happiness and comfort throughout their life.

We believe in creating magic and wonder to light children up to learning and to help the progress through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We focus on education and intellectual development through an energetic pursuit of experimentation and experience.  Sometimes learning requires messy, noisy fun, which is absolutely OK with us - because learning itself isn’t always tidy (and fun rarely is!)

We believe in providing encouragement and expertise to help children reach their full potential, without imposing pre-conceived ideals about what is “expected,” “typical” or “average.” No child at our Nursery is average or typical – every child is special and is regarded as a valued – and understood - individual.

We believe in inclusive practice, enabling all children to have the best possible learning opportunities, irrespective of particular care needs or disabilities. We provide a range of experiences,activities and environments that are suited to all children and we tailor our approach to provide learning activities to suit an individual child’s most effective style of learning.

We believe that every child, parent and carer should experience personal attention. We create an atmosphere of open and positive partnership in the care of children and pro-active regular involvement of parents and carers.
